Research

My primary area of interest is in distributed systems including cloud and grid computing, high performance computing and utility computing. I am interested in workflow tools, resource management, monitoring and adaptation for performance and fault tolerance. My thesis explores the multi-level adaptation techniques required in dynamic web service workflows at the application and resource management level to meet application constraints (e.g. deadline) in conjunction with resource variability - performance and availability. I am also interested in multi-disciplinary research that enable scientific and business problems to leverage distributed systems.
